Christine “Chris” Childress is the Vice President of Human Resources  & Administration at Pillar Income Asset Management, Inc. She is responsible for providing human resources leadership for Pillar’s corporate office and affiliates. This includes performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, talent acquisition and retention, corporate policies and procedures, legal compliance, and organizational strategy.

Chris joined Pillar Income Asset Management in 2005 as Facilities Manager and has consistently employed her knowledge of human resource functions, facilities management, and event planning while overseeing Pillar’s day-to-day business administration and operations management. She also manages special projects such as corporate moves, COVID-19 response, wellness initiatives, and business continuity programs. Chris has over 20 years of Human Resources and Facilities Management experience. Before joining Pillar, she managed a boutique recruiting firm sourcing employees for companies across a variety of industries and position levels, ranging from warehouse to C-Suite.

Chris holds a BA in English Literature from Stephen F. Austin State University and is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) through the Society for Human Resources Management.
