Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel

Sarah Benes is the Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Pillar Income Asset Management, Inc.  In her role, she oversees legal matters and provides counsel and advice regarding the business and operations of the company and its affiliates.

Sarah has nearly 20 years of experience as a business lawyer, with both law firm and in-house experience.  Immediately prior to joining Pillar, she served as general counsel to a real estate investment and management company. 

Sarah graduated with her JD from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor of the Computer Law Review and Technology Journal, was a member of Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity, and attended the Oxford Summer Law Program.  Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas, where she also played the cello.  Sarah is licensed to practice law in Texas
